Okay...so yea, I came home Friday...all was well, it was a great start to what I thought would be a wonderful break. No...I dont even know how to describe the events of last evening.
The last thing you will ever expect is to walk into a house and see one of your closest relatives dying. The worst part is...I was naive enough to think she could make it through it...as bad as it looked...the entire night was a blur...All I remember is seeing my grandma helpless...my mom leaving with my grandma in the ambulance, getting to the hospital after her, being put into a room...and then having to make that decision with my mom...and then PRAYING she could hold on until Ty got here...talking to her even though she was already gone...shes gone...what the hell!? I dont understand why he have to lose people...I am so angry! I can't comprehend death...And I can't comprehend how all of this could be happening...it's surreal...I have never in my life lost someone I am close to...I always thought I could feel the pain of someone going through what I am now...But I was never even close...all I feel is emptiness...I have been blessed with so many things because of her...I owe her my kick ass mom...and basically all of who I am today...and shes gone...and i NEVER told her that...never...my mom said that when I talk to her at the wake I still have a chance...But do I?! Her soul is already gone...that woman that made so many people laugh so hard they couldnt breathe...that taught my family so much...that was so spunky even in her last days that I prayed I would be like that after reaching her age...I love her...I keep thinking this will get easier, but I see something, completely random and it makes me think of her and I break down. I haveeee to be strong...for my mom, for my brother...I don't know how though...I can do it most of the time...but I will be a wreck for the rest of this week. I was considering not celebrating my birthday, but my mom said that I needed to have the girls come down and get my mind off of things...and I know it's what grandma would have wanted, but how can you celebrate when something so horrible just happened?!...geez...how does this all work? Ewww...I really don't like this world sometimes... |

Yeah...I had just about the most amazing weekend I have had in a while...
Okay so Friday...let's see...I was supposed to go to Elmhurst with Katie, but I didnt end up doing that cause her bf was gonna come to the city instead...so went over there did my first BB!!! Think really hard and you'll know what BB is...:):):) hehe it was great, but scary, katie did like 8 of them and let's just say she was a little "out of it" then we hop into a cab and go to a party at DePaul and she was talking some freaking hilarious shit...no joke...she kept asking him if he was mad at her, and she told him we were going too slow, and then toooooo fast and all that jazz it was soooooo funny...then we went to the Toga party...met some really funny girls and a really cool dude named Chance...and I somehow forgot his name! how do you forget that kind of name??? So then I decided to head back to my side of campus at about hmmm like 1230??? so i get here and Casey was here! Crazy, what's crazier...we ended up talking and I ended up going and chillin with him, which resulted in me not going to bed until four in the morning...which resulted in the beginning hours of days two
Day two...wellllll i couldnt wake up for the train cause i was too tired...sorry Deeeee;) but being the good friend she is she came and picked me up after I went to QUIZNOS AND COLDSTONE with Bo and Raina...wow was that nice...Coldstone is amazing!!!! Chambana should really look into getting one...so after that...dee and I went to the outdoor REALLY nice mall by her house in Addison...got my eyebrows done...and that was good, cause I seriously look like a totally new person...so we came back and debated on whether to go to the frat's party...but we did, and it was reallyyyyy good times, I talked to Corey on the phone...Dee cracks me up, Bo was SOOOOOOO...yah, you know, and that never happens...Casey proved something to me that was pretty nice...when a guy takes care of not only you, but your friends as well...I think that's a pretty good sign:):):) Duece and Casey really hooked us up!!!! A lot of my friends were there...and I finally got to spend more time with Tom...I really haven't done a lot of that lately. Casey and I ended up leaving right before it got busted so that was realllyyyy good...AND I MET TEDDDDDD officially...sorry, I know you aren't Tan now...LOL Then today, slept in...Casey had to go to the play so I left and came back here...visited my girls and Johnnie...worked on a paper...met up with Ross for lunch that was nice, I havent seen him in forever and he is one of those people that I can just talk to for like...ever...yeah, hopefully that doesn't get annoying;) then i came back, did some more homework...went to see Danny...things are better with him, that's real good...ummmmmm Drank a RedBullmmmmmmmmm...i love my Red Bull...there is something that I am not including...what is it???? hmmm i dunno, went to dinner with the girls...called Ty to cancel I feel super bad about that...but hey, it's cool we are gonna go later

Blah!!!! This week is crazyyyyy hectic, I am so glad that this day is almost over. Today I had a paper due, I turned that in just now and I think it wasn't too bad so that is a plus...but now I have to go to Psych discussion and ask about 5 MILLION questions because I am confused about my EXAM tomorrow...ah geez...and then after that I have a Math exam...but I am really not too stressed or worried about it because...uhhhh yea...if you were in the class...you would know;) Anyway, I also have a very in depth Urban Studies paper due Thursday that I need to work on ASAP, I need to do Pilates tonight cause I have to do it like 4 times a week to stay in good shape...and I know I have time for all of these...But it is SO unbelievably easy to get distracted. For example, last night I was typing the cover letter for my paper that was due today and I was listening to music, and even though I had my away message up you still hear when people IM you and Den and Danny and Kris had me distracted ALLLLL night...Not that I minded cause I love my people...it's just...I need to get better at drawing the line between work and play. But yesterday was really great I got ready to go shopping with Den and then Danny texted me and asked if we had left, so we decided to go visit him and the boys(they were watching the Bears game, go figure). And Danny said he wanted to go to Urban and the game wasn't fun so he decided he would drive us downtown. BIG MISTAKE for him...I feel so bad, parking was $25 by the time we got back to the garage and he wouldn't let us give him money...but anyway, we shopped at Urban, I got the "Pirates Arrrr Cool!" Shirt!!!!! I love it...in fact, I am wearing it right now.;) I also got a reallyyyy cute skirt for $3!!!! Can we say SCORE?! And Danny got some jeans that I made him try on for my approval and a shirt that said "You must be this tall to ride this ride." It's cute...we really wanted him to get this shirt that said "Gardening, do it with hoes." But we couldn't find a medium! DAG YO! He and I were just standing there laughing about it for like five minutes...and then we noticed we were getting some weird stares so we just zipped it! Then we headed to Water Tower, D got a really cute skirt and then decided she wanted to go back to Urban to buy leg warmers. Sooooo we went back there, went to Johnny Rockets for some dinna...got lost trying to find Danny's car...and came back to our home sweet dorm...and KONSTANTINE(which is the best song ever) almost lasted the entire car ride back...wow, is it long. So then I finished some stuff, Kris came to my room so we could catch up since she had been gone all weekend, I missed my girl! And then Tay got home so she got distracted with him, and then Danny and D and I just talked. And then I finally ventured downstairs, talked to Bo for a while, saw John and Alec and talked about Eastern with them...And then laid in bed and listened to music til 2, talked to my best friend Danny;), and FINALLY fell asleep....yeah...did you like my incoherent rambling? I am a little sleepy;) Wellllll I am off to Psych...I hope everyone is doing well:) |

Sooooo pretty cool week really...Let's see......Oh yea! So Monday I got to meet Ryan Cabrera!!! Mmmm yummy! Hes beautiful and he performed really well, from what I could see...lol I felt kinda bad for my friends though cause they don't know much of his music and I listen to the CD and some of his older songs like everyday...but they all said they had fun so that's good. Ummm I was pretty durn sick all week so I slept a lot! That was nice. Danny and I watched The OC special on Thursday, I can't waittttt for the new season it is gonna rock. And I think Denilyn Cassie and I will be getting an apartment together next year!!! I am sooooo excited, we will see how all that goes! Ummm last night was the first UIC frat party I went to. It actually turned out being very good times regardless of the somewhat uncomfortable situation I put myself in. Let's see...it was supposed to be me, Den, Cass, her bf, and Danny...No...I am sorry The Hott Dan;). But Cassie and her James ended up going to his friends first so it was just me Den and Danny which made it kinda weird, but Ash was there! Bless her soul, I love her sooooo much! And the night was realllyyy great. Girls drink free...JUNGLE JUICE GALORE! And since Duece was mixing he hit me up with some special stuff:) But yea we all came home and Den was acting weird so I went and talked WAY TOO MUCH to Danny and we ended up just watching some TV til she got back. And then I almost fell asleep in Doug's bed but I decide I would go downstairs and chat with my girls. So Raina and I talked for abotu an hour and then Bo and I talked for a half an hour and I came back and fell asleep to none other than mr Ryan Cabrera...mmmmmm so all in all...very good Friday. Tonight should be swell as well;) If anyone wants to visit Chicago come up here!!! It's amazing!!! I can't even tell you how wonderful it is!!!! Sooo I moved into my dorm yesterday!!! It is a lot bigger and better than I was expecting. I love it! Anyway, I got settled in and then Ross came over and we went out to Navy Pier, where we enjoyed fireworks that are better than the ones on the 4th in Champaign! And this is apparently something they do every Wednesday and Saturday..phew...interesting...hehehehehe! And then it started raining on our way home so he chilled in my dorm for a while to find a bus...and he and Yvette and I watched Just Married...and then I fell asleep...and it was tight...lol...but yeah, then I woke up and Yvette and I walked all the way to the other side of campus...(A LONG WALK...i tell ya what, wow!) And we got our U-Passes so we can ride all the CTA stuff for free...I went and got all my books except for one that they were sold out of and that was a stressful confusing situation, but it worked out. Then Vet and I took the train home...yeaaaaaaa buddy...and now after a lil lunch we are just chillin in the room and I am about to find a prime shopping area for this evening;) EMAIL ME at sbenne4@uic.edu YAY! Wellllllll, wow, it's going by so quickly.
Let's seeeee I have spent tons of time with Em which is sooooo good cause she is goin to be in France next year:( I am going to miss her terribly...:( But yea, I think Mr. Dave and I are going to visit her around New Years:):):) YAY!! Speaking of which Em, Nick, Dave,Brian and I went to Allerton and cooked out like right before the 4th and it was great fun. I found a lot of a balance there...Brian is perfectly great:) Just what I need for the Summer before I leave!
Anyway, the 4th was truly wonderful:) Jaime and I just kinda sat around all day until the boys called us to go to the fireworks...and I dunno about everyone els but I really liked the fireworks, they were really long!!! Keith thought that they were like too long but he was just in a bad mood cause he had to work at the Cup until 9 and he almost missed em, I felt bad for him. But Jaime and I ended up taking him and Becky to Chris' dad's and we stayed for bout 30 and then Jaime and I left to go to a different party for a while...then Brian and Keith both called so we figured we would head over to the party at Chris' mom's casa...wellllll good times ensued for sure...it was just chris, eric,the dedeck twins, bri, cliff, mike, dan, JRo and Alyssa was just leaving as Jaime and I showed up...but yea, whoaaaaaaaa crazy, but very good times...I got to know Keith really well...hes one cool dude
Hmmm what else is new? ohhhhhhh Elle had kittens!!! Theres a white one that looks like her, a boy, named Bear, cause he looks like a polar bear, and a little teeny girl that's black with white paws and a little on her face named Belle...and the last SUPER cute kitty that is white with black spots like a cow named Bull..after Bullseye cause he stil hasnt opened ONE eye, hehe....anyone looking for a really cute kitten(s)????? ;)
And YES! I finally had summer orientation!!!It rocked!!!!!!!! It was hectic and I was exhausted, but it was well worth it!!! I met some really cool people, I know what my schedule is and I know the campus pretty darn well now...AND before I caught my train home Katie took me to Urban, and I got FOUR graphic shirts from there (which are my total faves) for five bucks each!!! I also bought Em one I knew she had been eying for a while and I got a solid green shirt some lip gloss and new earrings...I spend 41.29....and normally all that would be....like 140!!! Are we proud??? I am!! But then I got home and Jaim picked me up from the train station(I had a SCOTTISH attendant on the train!)and we chilled fo a while then I went to Brian's...:) It was good to see everyone again,and today I went to Za's yay! With Em and that was fun, however in the words of JM...I think she is going through something "it might be a 1/4 life crisis" shes acting like she is gonna be alone...and im like what? you have like 4 CUTE, SWEET, INTELLIGENT, FUN dudes knocking down your door...and you can't decide...you are fine...she makes me laugh
Anyway, I am just stoked, I love UIC, it's definitely the place for me...and I am itching for it to be August 18th already...anyway...I am gonna run...call me if I havent seen you in a while, im sure i would love to hear from ya! Now I'm gonna go watch Sex and the City;) YAY! ROCK ON

Uhhh well...summer:)
Life has been crazy...like there have been so many people around...and so many people I wish I saw more...or less...;) But yea, I LOVE IT! I love that in less than three months I am going to be a terrified but damn well excited freshman living in Chicago my most favoritest city and actually finding the means to see Ross...since I cant seem to ever see him while hes in Champaign (sorry dude:() (that looks funny...)and meeting ALL new people!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love the people here, it's just that...my mind needs a fresh new beginning...Champaign reminds me of something really far gone...so ya...but I am over it! Life is beautiful...and the future is even more so!!! If I haven't seen you in a while, gimme a call, I would probably love to see you!:)

Yeah! Hey! I haven't written in my own journal in like...two weeksish? Whoa...that is like...forever...hehe well A LOT has happened!
First, the musical went really well...the last night was kinda sad, it made me really sad to see other people cry...but I don't know, I really do think everyone of those people is going to go on to better things...of course the musicals rock...and I will miss them, but I will NOT miss HS.
Anyway, so I have a Prom date! I am going with Zack Flynn, and until last night I would have written about what a wonderful GROUP we would have had, but I guess that changed...so whatever, it's kinda...well whatever
But this week was really cool cause Bets and I went up to UIC on Monday so she could audition for one of the vocal professors there. And we just explored the campus and stuff, and I bumped into Ross, which was really strange considering I didn't think that would happen at all! But ya, every time I go there I love it more and more. But then we had to go to school for ONE day and then we had those two sleep in days where the juniors take the ACT, and that was baller! And then Friday off.
So Thursday night I went out with Spence and had an AWESOME time, shes so so sooooo much fun. Then we left at about 6 for Chicago(us being me bets and her dad) on friday, after my mommy bought me some delishhhh mexican food, I think I am addicted to Mexican. But yea, we scored an AWESOME hotel for really cheap and we watched the Cubs game at Harry Carays...or however you spell it...so that was a unique and fun thing. Then Saturday we got up super early to take our placement exams. Which really didn't suck too bad, so that was nice. And I think I am really going to enjoy the people I will be with next year...I at least know I will enjoy the place:) But I will meet more people June 8th, that's the Orientation date for me! Let's see...and then I came home and KT and I managed to get me to look semi pretty for Prom in about 15 minutes...wow...so Prom was pretty good, I guess I just felt really out of place for some reason. But it happens...I just hope no one is mad at me. And then I went to see how Jen was doing because I was a little bit concerned...and that was CRAZY...so yea, but it was a pretty good night all together. I was feeling kinda shitty when I came home and stuff, but I talked to Jen for a while and then Matt totally made me feel better, hes a pretty awesome friend...
AND NOW...my brother is graduating from Illinois Weslyan University...go bro! So I will be there all day...kind of hectic weekend but I love it |

Ok so yes, I knew something like this would happen and it was pretty darn funny...and kinda sad, but not really cause I know hes okay now.
So my brother just broke up with his girl friend that he has dated for all of college and he graduates next Sunday. So at 4:00 in the morning ish...we get a call from a gas station...long story short, i was still sleepy so i hear my mom go "Ty, it's okay, i love you too be there in a sec." and in twenty minutes in walks my semi intoxicated brother wearing jeans and a suit jacket...looking somewhat John Mayeresque saying "Do NOT wake up Steph, she'll be pissed at me." Only to hear me in the room say "Ty, you really shouldn't drink" "Oh shit, shes up." So it was hilariously funny, except for the part where he talked about Lishy possibly...well that's not what is important...I just wanted to remember what happened so yea, lots of funny quotes from this night....but hes always hilarious anyway...So a little background, Tyler's frat had a party in Mahomet of all places and he got sick of being there so he walked with a bottle of something and himself and thought he was making it back to Bloomington only to discover he hadnt made it that far on his "JOURNEY, OR TREKK" and he had only gotten to Champaign...so he called us...muaha
"Yes, I walked here from Mahomet, the brothers might be a little worried. It sounds way worse when mom says it though."

Okay, I am a dork and I just felt the need to document this because, it was extremely sweet and unlike the normal me and Teej conversations...and after tonight it was really good to hear...

Okay this week is.......HELL WEEK, of the musical, but all is well, I love it and I know I am gonna be hella sad when all of this is over even though I complain ALL the time...I love my senior girls, life just will not be the same without some of them next year. *sigh* Enough mushiness....moving on, hopefully we can go see York HS do Man of La Mancha...yay for Tony and Amber and Court, I LOVE THEM
NEXT WEEK-THE MUSICAL!!!! Come see ALL of us ALL FOUR NIGHTS!!! Woot!!! Except sadly enough another company IN QUOTATIONS...im too lazy to go back....in town is doing Joseph as well, what is that....???!?!?!?!?!?! I am bamboozled...
THE WEEK AFTER THAT-Saturday I have placement testing at UIC, scary much?!?!? I am just crossing my fingers that I do not have to take the FRENCH one, cause do we know what? Je ne comprend pas beaucoup de francais!!! NOT KIDDING!!!! OKAY, back, only a day late;)So the day after my brain is friend from placement testing I will be attending Ty and Lishy's graduation at Illinois Weslyan University!!! Wooty woot woot! Go them!
The next weekend....I think is that free one...yea...with those TWO days i get to sleep in and the JUNIORS have to take the ACT;)???? ROCK on and then we have friday off...now this weekend, could be used to Prom dress shop, that is...if one is lucky enough to accompanied by a date to this event...*sigh*
All right, then there is the senior concert which I think I will be singing either "Cruisin" with a special guest orrrrr "The Nearness of You" and then Prom and then GRADUATION...and then three months of working and making friendships last...then.....DUH DUH DUH!!!!! uic BABAY!!!!!;):)
Today was a good day...I love my life;) And my friends, especially those of you who stick with me even through my stressed outness, even if i can be really mean for no reason...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE;) I LOVE YA!!!! |

All rightttttyyyy...so what do you do when you fall for a friend...and all that falling has made you do is avoid him like the plague cause you HATE IT...and you just want things to be simple...and you JUST want to be the FRIEND that you know he WANTS to you to be...but he is SO amazing...and he has this heart and this mind and this beauty...and EVERYTHING is beautiful about him...and you can SEE yourself with this person.........more so than anyone else......................this is why i feel like giving up sometimes...whats the point...cause I will never have the balls to tell him...and that is mostly cause his friendship means too much to me to potentially ruin it...emily may want to kick my arse because of it...but that's the way it is...maybe someday i will be good enough for him...and maybe some day he will fall for me..."and waiting is all that i can do, until you find your way back to me."
